For this studio project, I was assigned an entire resort to design, including the lobby with a restaurant all the way to the last detail to sustainable activities for the guests enjoy.

CONCEPT STATEMENT
To create a comforting, safe, and sustainable environment that encourages guests to relax, get active, or divulge themselves in the history of Salem while staying environmentally friendly. The concept of the airplane propeller will promote the idea of balance and movement while connecting back to the history of the airplane hanger. I plan to use organic lines, circular circulation patterns, metal textures, and repetition of lines. The propeller supports the feeling of freedom and airiness I want the guests to experience while staying at Half-Tide Resort.
